Hi Dennis,

Inline...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have only last weekend installed isa server 2k
on my windows 2000 server and if have used the tutorials on this site to get my website back online but it does not work if done absolutly everything i could find on this....here what ive done

- Installed isa + service pack 1 + feature pack 1
- set my website to listen on internal ip
221.180.10.1 port 85
>>This is not an internal IP address!<<

- Set isa listener on external ip & port 80
>>good<<

- made a destinationset for my what i believe to
be my fqdn "http://343555-a.hnglo1.ov.home.nl/"
It worked before i installed isa so why not.
>>that is a very odd FQDN, it look like a dynamic address entry. But you should know your DNS Host A records, since you own them. Just do an nslookup and confirm that the FQDN resolves to the correct address that you've configured the listener to use<<

- I made a publishing rule for the site with the
destination set like in the tutorial on port 85.
>>good; not that if internal clients need to access the site, they will have to use the alternate port number; that's why I always assign each site a different IP address, not Host Header and not alternate port number<<

- I configured a listener on the external ip in
incoming web requests.
>>good<<

- I disabled socket pooling on w3svc as microsoft
adviced my because the website is shared on the
isa server itself.
>>you must remove (or disable) IIS from the firewall, that will help a lot and make troubleshooting easier<<

But still it does not work it gives my an error:

"403 Forbidden - The server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)
Internet Security and Acceleration Server"
>>this indicates that your Destination Set that you're using in the Web Publishing Rule is incorrect<<

My boss is very angry because the site is down....please help !!

HTH,
Tom
